Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality filtration components and related products. Your expertise in sewing, fabric handling, and quality standards will ensure our products meet rigorous specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble and construct filters.
- Measure materials accurately using measuring instruments to ensure precise seam construction and dimensional consistency
- Handle fabric materials and other raw materials carefully, ensuring proper storage and handling to prevent damage
- Follow safety standards in production to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Perform manual cutting of fabrics and materials as needed for pattern accuracy and efficient production flow
- Conduct quality checks throughout the sewing process to meet strict quality standards in production
- Use sewing techniques such as serging, garment sewing, embroidery, and seam construction to achieve professional results
Requirements
- Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines or similar sewing equipment
- Knowledge of garment construction, upholstery, and fabric materials used in manufacturing
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns for accurate seam construction
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and dimensional measurements for quality assurance
- Understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols
- Skills in handling various materials including fabrics suitable for upholstery or filtration systems
- Basic manual cutting skills for fabric preparation before sewing operations

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
