Job Description
The Manager, Patient Financial Services Claims and AR, is responsible for managing the daily operations of Patient Financial Services (PFS), and all related billing and collection practices. Maintains compliance standards that meet or exceed all state and federal regulatory requirements. Manages all aspects of accounts receivable including charge capture, pre-bill and bill edits to support clean claims, claim generation and reconciliation, reimbursement, denials management and follow up functions. May include both acute and professional, physician, and mid-level practitioner billing, provider enrollment, and revenue cycle functions. Collaborates with all stakeholders supporting PFS, including administrative, clinical, and financial leadership and staff. Maintains culture of accountability with staff and promotes a positive, team oriented environment. Influences positive operational and financial outcomes.
Bachelors degree in Business.
Experience
Strong knowledge of third party billing and reimbursement required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft applications and accounts receivable applications. 2-5 years Management experience in a health care related field. General financial and analytical experience.
