Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their tanning needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Operate and maintain various tanning equipment including UV tanning beds, spray tan booths, airbrush systems, and red light therapy devices
- Apply tanning solutions such as dihydroxyacetone (DHA), erythrulose, tyrosine products, walnut extract, and henna with precision to ensure even results
- Educate clients on proper skincare before and after tanning treatments to maximize safety and results
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, including spray tan booths, UV beds, and salon areas in compliance with health standards
- Process cash transactions accurately while upselling additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of tanning solutions, lotions, and supplies
Qualifications
- Previous retail store experience or background in the beauty industry preferred
- Knowledge of spray tan booth operation, airbrush systems, UV tanning beds, and red light therapy devices required
- Experience applying DHA, erythrulose, tyrosine products, walnut extract, or henna for tanning is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to educate clients effectively on tanning procedures and skincare
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while upselling services confidently
- Commitment to sanitation standards and maintaining a clean salon environment
- Cosmetology or related certifications are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
