Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching
- Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a painter or in a related field
- Knowledge of remodeling and construction painting techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in painting
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques
- Experience with masonry and drywall repairs is a plus
