Position Summary
The Superintendent leads field operations for major healthcare construction projects in Wilmington, NC. This role will oversee a ground-up, three-story rehabilitation hospital as well as related healthcare work. The Superintendent is accountable for schedule oversight, budget coordination, safety enforcement, quality control, subcontractor management, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Lead a ground-up, three-story rehabilitation hospital project (approximately 90,000 SF)

Oversee daily field operations, schedules, and subcontractor coordination

Manage jobsite safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance

Coordinate with project management and design teams

Maintain communication with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders

Track milestones and proactively resolve field-level issues
Qualifications & Requirements

5–10 years of commercial construction experience

Healthcare construction experience preferred

Proven ability to lead large, ground-up construction projects

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Ability to work onsite in Wilmington or nearby areas

Willingness to travel as project needs require
