Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic, dynamic, and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our limited-service property. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of IHG brand standards to oversee all daily operations, drive exceptional guest experiences, and ensure financial success. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operations: Lead and supervise all departments—including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance—ensuring seamless coordination and limited-service efficiency.
- IHG Compliance: Uphold and enforce all IHG brand standards, service metrics, and quality assurance guidelines.
- Financial Management: Manage operational budgets, oversee daily financial reporting, and monitor performance to meet or exceed financial targets.
- Revenue Optimization: Implement strategic plans to maximize revenue, occupancy rates, and profitability using effective revenue management techniques.
- Guest Relations: Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, promptly resolving issues and driving positive online reviews.
- HR & Leadership: Handle hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling, while fostering a motivating team environment.
- Hands-on Support: Oversee night audit procedures and manage front desk operations during peak times, including handling guest inquiries with professional phone etiquette.
- Safety: Ensure strict compliance with local health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of General Manager experience within the IHG brand portfolio (e.g., Holiday Inn Express, Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites) is mandatory.
- Hotel Operations: Deep understanding of limited-service hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance management.
- Systems & Finance: Proficiency with OPERA/HotelKey, Merlin, Concerto, N2 Pricing, night audit procedures, and hospitality budgeting.
- Leadership: Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse hospitality team.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong customer service and phone etiquette.
- Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Languages: Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
