Summary
As an Accounting Assistant at Mike Anderson Auto Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our offices. This position is essential in supporting our team and enhancing the overall experience for both employees and customers. This position reports to the location Operations Manager and works closely with the Controller.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to various departments within the automotive group.
- Perform data entry accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Reconcile GL accounts and post daily transactions.
- Assist with month end by closing ERP system.
- Be comfortable using Excel and Word to create documents and spreadsheets as needed.
- Support special projects and initiatives as directed by management.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Basic accounting knowledge and 1-2 years experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data recording and processing and computer literacy is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to attend work as scheduled.
