Auto Controller
Purpose: The Controller is responsible for the accurate representation of the financial condition of the dealership, develops controls necessary for the proper conduct of the business, maintains accurate records, and establishes and maintains the data processing capabilities to accomplish the dealership’s objectives.
Supervises: Accounting Office
Reports to: CFO
Job Duties:
- Supervise and train office staff
- Work with office staff to see that tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Reconcile dealer finance reserves statements monthly
- Reconcile Floor Plan
- Backup Payroll
- Complete financial statement
- Archive Monthly Data
- Verify daily bank entries against General Ledger
- Reconcile Hold Back Reserves
- Monthly sales tax and tire tax payment
- Assist with corporate reports
- Audit Schedules
- Verify Cash Sales
- Monthly Curtailments
- Maintain and post monthly entries
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
