Inspection Staff Member
Pay: $25/hour
Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time (8–40 hours per week, based on availability)

Overview
Trinity Guardion is hiring Inspection Staff Members to assist with inspecting and documenting hospital beds and mattresses at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). This project supports patient safety and infection prevention standards.
All required immunizations to work on patient floors will be covered by Trinity Guardion. Pre-Med, Nursing, and other Healthcare students (or anyone seeking short-term hospital experience) are encouraged to apply.
Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability are essential for this role. Team members are expected to maintain a positive and respectful demeanor at all times. Disagreements or unprofessional behavior will not be tolerated in front of patients or OSUWMC staff. Appropriate attire is mandatory during inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning: Wipe down bed frames and mattress surfaces, and dress or undress beds in accordance with hospital standards.
- Inspection: Open and inspect mattresses and covers for stains, tears, pinholes, dips, or bed deck rust.
- Data Entry: Record inspection and cleaning details using Formstack, our digital data platform.
- Communication: Coordinate with Environmental Services (EVS) and nursing staff to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Compliance: Verify the proper use and installation of the Soteria Bed Barrier system.
- Punctuality: Arrive on time and attend daily team meetings at the start of each shift to review goals for the day.
