Duties

- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations.
- Manage sales administration tasks, including preparing proposals, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining policy details clearly, and guiding them through the benefits of coverage options.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase product awareness and attract diverse customer segments.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes like HIPAA or insurance regulation updates, and product knowledge to enhance sales effectiveness.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales or telemarketing with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively articulate product benefits and close deals.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Strong analysis skills for assessing client needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions.
- Knowledge of insurance products including health insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance is preferred.
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems for managing client information efficiently.
- Understanding of insurance regulation standards such as HIPAA compliance and benefits administration practices.
