POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, performs receiving, stocking, pulling, consolidating, and staging of consumer products in multiple warehouse areas. This position is responsible for maintaining productivity, accuracy, quality, and safety standards while supporting warehouse operations. Employees must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Performance is measured by productivity, accuracy, safety, and timely completion of assigned warehouse functions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive incoming freight, verify quantities, and accurately scan products into inventory.
- Store products in designated primary and reserve warehouse locations.
- Pull, stage, and prepare products accurately and efficiently using warehouse management systems and scanning devices.
- Follow established procedures for reporting inventory discrepancies, damaged product, and out-of-stock items.
- Communicate daily with supervisors regarding inventory levels, operational priorities, and order fulfillment requirements.
- Deliver completed orders to designated consolidation or staging areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment prior to use.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventories as assigned.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and warehouse operating standards.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with warehouse projects and operational initiatives.
- Support other warehouse functions as business needs require.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Warehouse, distribution, receiving, inventory control, order selection, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or voice-directed picking systems preferred.
- Forklift and order picker certification preferred.
WORK HOURS
- Enjoy a four (4) day, ten (10) hour (4/10) work schedule, providing three (3) days off each week and enhanced work-life balance.
- Warehouse operations support customer requirements seven (7) days per week.
- Typical shift start times may include 5:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., or 8:00 p.m.
- Newly hired employees may be assigned to weekend shifts during their introductory and training period to support operational and training requirements.
- Following successful completion of training, employees may be considered for other available schedules based on performance, operational needs, staffing requirements, and business demands.
- Employees must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.
- Work schedules may be adjusted based on operational needs.
