Our law firm is seeking a talented and driven Employment Attorney to join our growing team in Orlando. This is an exciting opportunity to advocate for clients in meaningful employment matters, shape legal strategy, and make a real difference in people's working lives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Handle all phases of employment litigation, including witness interviews, document review, depositions, court appearances, and trial
- Represent clients in arbitrations, negotiations, EEOC hearings, and court proceedings
- Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct thorough legal research into statutes, case law, and regulatory developments
- Advise clients on their rights and legal options, explaining complex issues in clear, accessible language
- Develop and execute case strategies aimed at achieving favorable, cost-effective outcomes
- Guide clients on best practices during pending matters, including social media use and confidentiality
- Stay current on federal and state employment law developments
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients throughout their legal journey
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years of employment law experience, including litigation
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws (Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, wage & hour)
- Active bar admission in Florida
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and collaboratively
- Sharp critical thinking, negotiation, and drafting skills
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset
- Genuine commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (required)
