We’re currently looking for an experienced Tax Preparer & Bookkeeper to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual and small business tax returns
- Perform bookkeeping and data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
- Communicate with clients via email and phone to gather necessary information
- Ensure tasks and projects are completed accurately and on time
- Assist with administrative and office tasks outside of tax season, including: document archiving, filing, process improvement projects, and general office support
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping
- Tax and accounting software exposure (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization, accuracy, and efficiency
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Open to learning new workflows and improving systems
- Proactive in problem-solving and communication
