Responsibilities
- Detail, review, manage shop drawings required for shop fabrication
-Verifying field dimensions to relate shop drawings to
-Creating submittals for work being performed on ongoing projects
-Work with in house engineer to develop engineered plans for items of work.
-Spend time on projects with field personnel to implement work.
-Help in developing estimates for bidding projects.
Experience
-Looking for a 1 to 3 year structural engineer who wants an opportunity to get hands on experience and wants to pursue a PE license.
-If already a PE, company would utilize for specialty engineering on occasions.
Skills
-Must be proficient in CADD
-Must have Microsoft office knowledge
-Must be willing to learn specialty items for moveable bridge market.
Education
-Engineering with mechanical background
-Needs to have FE or acquire within 6 months
