Overview
Erie First Christian Academy is seeking an energetic, caring, and dedicated Elementary Teacher to lead our 1st and 2nd Grade Combination Class. The ideal candidate will create a Christ-centered learning environment that nurtures the whole child—academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
The successful candidate will provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction designed to meet the diverse needs of a multi-age classroom. Through intentional teaching and meaningful learning experiences, the teacher will integrate biblical truth throughout all subject areas while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
In partnership with families and colleagues, the teacher will support each student’s individual growth and development, cultivate a positive and nurturing classroom community, and help students grow in both their faith and academic abilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (Elementary, Early Childhood, or Reading Preferred)
- Ability to Obtain Clearances
- Love of Children
Spiritual Expectations:
- Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ
- Regular Attendance at a local Christian Church
- Agreement with the Academy's Statement of Faith
