This role is focused on fraud detection, investigations, and security monitoring, with an emphasis on social engineering and phishing attack prevention. The individual should have a background in telecom or IT security operations, be able to work with Splunk and have strong investigative skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and investigate suspicious activities such as phishing, social engineering attempts, or telecom-related fraud.
- Work with Splunk dashboards, queries, and reporting to analyze incidents.
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of findings, as the work involves sensitive/confidential information.
- Collaborate with compliance and fraud-prevention teams to strengthen security controls.
- Conduct investigations while being mindful of business impact.
Requirements
- Around 2–5 years of experience in security operations, fraud detection, or telecom-related investigations.
- Familiarity with phishing/social engineering attack patterns.
- Experience with Splunk (queries, analysis, dashboards).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Background in telecom or related IT environments is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (security, compliance, or telecom-focused) would add value.
