Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for Aerospace Fabricator in Sterling Heights, MI. As aerospace fabricator control programmer for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
JOB DUTIES
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate dimensions of fabricated parts.
- Setting up and operating fabricating machines including break press, metal muncher, rollers, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Lay out, measure and inspect part dimensions to blueprints, internal drawings or written instructions using height gauges, micrometers, dial instructions and calipers
- Experience in qualifying sheet metal parts to fit models, check fixtures and or print specifications
- Shear, punch, brake or otherwise fabricate parts per established procedures and production standards and to stated and acceptable quality standards
- Accept other duties and responsibilities as assigned or when required by customer needs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper), and operating fabrication machinery (press brake machine, plasma cutting).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical specifications accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to safety standards and quality control measures.
Available shifts include 1st (5am-3pm ) Mon-Fri weekends when needed.
Pay: $17-21/hr depending on experience
