Placers is seeking a motivated electric pallet jack operator for our premier client site located in Elkton, MD. The ideal candidate will be a careful equipment operator who moves packages and materials around the facilities. The general duties of this position will locate, pull, and stage customer materials for shipment based on daily pick tickets while maintaining an accurate accounting of internal transactions, placement, and movement of material. Weekly Pay!!
8am - 4pm Mon-Fri
$17.50/hr
What your day will consist of:
- Safely operate Electric Pallet Jack Riders by securing material prior to handling or storing and by operating at reasonable speeds and control.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others
- Pull, process, and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures, and parts
- Responsible for shipping, pulling orders, and completing required paperwork
- Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager
- Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of Warehouse experience
- 1+ years of electric pallet jack experience
- Operated required equipment within the past year
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass extensive background and drug screening
