About the Opportunity:
Chelsea Piers is looking for experienced, dedicated and passionate instructors to teach in our elite Swim School Program. Our instructors can expect to receive the necessary tools to be successful instructors in our program including hands-on training, manuals and the proper guidance/support from leadership. Swim Instructors must be able to provide the best customer service to our Swim School families and be able to communicate effectively with parents, care givers, colleagues, and managers. Our Swim Instructors must be caring, patient and outside the box thinkers in order to achieve the goal of teaching the ultimate gift of swimming.

Responsibilities:
The responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Effectively teach our CP Swim School curriculum to all students
Ensure the safety of all swimmers within your class
Provide the most professional customer service to our swimmers and families
Fill out and complete report cards and midterms for swimmers' families
Supervise and manage a group of kids and ensure their safety in the water
Be able to effectively communicate with parents via email
2-5 Years of Prior Experience teaching swimming
Ability to learn and adhere to our CP Aquatics Curriculum
ARC WSI Certification or USA Coaching Certification
Must enjoy working with kids and have prior experience
Be able to spend multiple hours in a pool
Be willing and open to last minute changes
Be comfortable and good at multitasking
Must be extremely patient and understanding when working with kids
Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with parents
