Responsible for supporting the mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of campers by working with parents and families to establish a care plan that is shared with camp staff. Coaching staff through camper behavior challenges, homesickness, and other camper issues. Ensuring safe and effective camp program by supervising campers and unit counselors in all areas of camper interaction (unit life, schedules, activities) and provide support and resources as needed to campers and staff. A background in social work, counseling, psychology, special education, or occupational therapy is required.
