We are hiring a dependable and motivated Commercial Roof Laborer to join our growing roofing team. This position assists experienced roofers with commercial roofing installation, repair, and maintenance projects. No roofing experience is required — we will train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
This is a physically demanding outdoor position with opportunities for advancement into skilled roofing roles.
Responsibilities
- Assist roofing crews with commercial roof installation and repairs
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces
- Load and unload roofing materials, tools, and equipment
- Carry materials safely across rooftops and job sites
- Operate hand and power tools
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Work effectively with crew members to complete projects on schedule
- Assist with TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, and flat roofing systems
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to travel midweek (back home every week)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Construction or roofing experience preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial roofing experience
- Experience using roofing tools and equipment
- Drivers License
