POSITION: Custodian Supervisor
LOCATION: Devils Lake, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a full-time, 12-month, benefited position.
BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.
JOB SUMMARY: This position oversees the day-to-day custodial operations to ensure a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing environment. The Custodian Supervisor will be responsible for performing regular cleaning services for an assigned area, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows and doors and stripping & waxing or carpet cleaning of all floor surfaces. Under the direction of the Physical Plant Director, the custodian supervisor provides direct supervision and guidance to a team of custodians and student staff. Directs all phases of routine and/or emergency cleaning and general minor maintenance of all facilities. Responsible for scheduling and training of the LRSC custodial team and for the management and ordering of custodial supplies and equipment. Ensures safety procedures and protocols are maintained in all facets of the custodial operations. This position's work schedule may vary between the hours of 4am and 6pm including rotating weekend shifts.
: include high school diploma or GED. A successful candidate without a high school diploma or GED must agree to enroll in the Adult Learning Center at LRSC and complete the GED within one year from the date of hire. Previous supervisory experience is required.
SALARY: $49,600 - $56,600 depending on experience
