We are looking for someone with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Handle tax planning projects for individuals and businesses
- Review individual, partnership, trust, and corporation tax returns
- Prepare complex tax returns
- Manage client relationships and staff
- Identify and research accounting and tax related matters
- Provide accounting assistance to small and medium sized businesses
- Coordinate multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Calculate income tax provisions for GAAP financial statements
- Train staff
- Learn new information and skills quickly and stay updated on changes in tax laws
- Communicate with management and clients on tax issues and situations
- Incorporate AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy, while maintaining sound professional judgment
Preferred Experience
- CPA
- Four to eight years' experience in a Public accounting firm's tax department (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with ProSystem Engagement and/or Axcess Tax/ProSystemTax helpful
- Experience with CCH AnswerConnect platform helpful
- Experience with QuickBooks helpful
