POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for leading, prioritizing, and tracking multiple parallel cross-functional projects from inception through mass production. This individual ensures that customer programs and product development projects move forward successfully, with on time deliverables, within scope, and aligned with BrightView’s stage-gate process milestones. Operating with a high degree of attention to detail and excellent communication skills, the Project Manager collaborates with operations, engineering, quality, and sales to balance competing priorities and keeps team resources focused on high impact actions and projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Project Tracking & Execution: Manage multiple projects simultaneously; ensure deliverables are met from kickoff through completion.
· Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate daily with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Sales to ensure teams are coordinated, project requirements are updated and clearly communicated, and tasks are completed.
· Prioritization: Evaluate competing demands across the project portfolio, dynamically prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and resource availability.
· Stage-Gate Governance: Guide product development through BrightView’s formal stage-gate process, ensuring technical and quality requirements are well documented and met before advancing.
· Problem Solving: Proactively identify bottlenecks and/or resource constraints; develop and execute mitigation plans and escalate issues with a proposed path forward when needed.
· Communication & Reporting: Provide clear project updates, progress reports, and schedule changes to internal and external (customer) stakeholders.
· Meeting Facilitation: Lead internal and external status meetings, capture action items, assign owners, and follow up to ensure completion.
· Process Improvement: Support post-mortems and improve project workflows, documentation, and tools.
· Customer Audits: Participate in customer audits as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Education: Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in a technical / engineering field is highly desirable.
· Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing related industry.
· Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is desired.
· Software Proficiency: In depth knowledge of a collaborative project management software platform, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in navigating ERP and CRM systems is a plus
