We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide's and Home Health Aide's to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care services. The ideal candidate is required to be a New York State Licensed Personal Care Aide [PCA] or Home Health Aide [HHA] and will have experience in various healthcare settings. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The care will be provided within each clients home environment.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings such as clinics, teaching hospitals, and trauma centers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required by healthcare regulations.
Skills
- REQUIRED: Licensed Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
