Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at our headquarters in Strongsville, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling, order fulfillment, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
Duties
- Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; Assists with loading and unloading of trucks and containers. Inspects and stores it according to policy.
- Helps to coordinate transfer of inventory between A-ROO locations (OH, CA, FL, and TX).
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
- Resolves routine equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
- Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
- Ensures that all stock is stored in the correct locations within the warehouse.
- Pack and ship orders.
- Organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse.
- Performs general warehouse and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
- Familiarity with materials handling processes and techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing responsibilities.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor as needed.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least six months of experience in distribution or manufacturing
- Tow Motor Certified preferred, experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and on a tow motor.
- Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50lbs.
Pay range $13-$17/hour based on experience.
