A contract opportunity is available for a skilled educator specializing in visual impairment support through telehealth services. This role supports students requiring specialized instruction and assistance, delivered remotely to ensure accessibility and effective learning outcomes.
Location: Pharr, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide telehealth instruction and support tailored to students with visual impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations specific to visual impairment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with education standards and telehealth protocols.
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to support student development and engagement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a teacher of students with visual impairments.
- Experience delivering educational services via telehealth platforms.
- Strong understanding of visual impairment techniques and adaptive technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote teaching environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
