Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role located in Kenosha, WI for an Automotive Paint/Prep Technician. The role involves painting, sanding, priming, buffing and masking vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish, applying paint/primer and color matching. The individual will be responsible for painting, sanding, priming, masking and buffing. Duties also include maintaining a clean workspace and complying with safety regulations, working closely with other technicians and customer service personnel to ensure complete satisfaction and timely delivery of services.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in automotive painting, priming, buffing sanding and masking
- Skills in painting, priming, buffing, sanding and masking
- Knowledge of mixing paint/primers and ensuring the proper application
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team
- Experience in the field of auto body work and collision repair is a plus
- Relevant certification or training in automotive painting and refinishing
