Job Title: Junior Maintenance Technician

Reporting To: Maintenance Team Leader / Executive Management
Scope of Appointment: To be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of plant and equipment of Hotpie Inc. To assist in conjunction with others, the optimization of the patty manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for both mechanical and electrical engineering maintenance issues around the factory.
- Learn to undertake planned maintenance, breakdown repair and condition monitoring activities of plant and equipment.
- Report and confer with team leader and management on status of machine breakdowns. Enter work orders, parts and equipment with full descriptions and resolutions in a timely manner.
- Perform general administration tasks as necessary
- Keep inventory of parts and spare parts.
- Learn to proactively identify and implement improvements to operational machine and resource efficiencies and continue to promote an improvement culture for the company.
- Manage sub contractors’ tasks and projects and assist them if necessary.
- Learn and be responsible for ensuring that a clean, tidy and hazard free working environment is maintained to defined standards.
- Speak to technicians from equipment companies about equipment nuances, fixes and adjustments.
- Learn the basic function of all pieces of equipment in the factory.
Skills Required:
- Should be mechanically inclined and like to figure out how to fix issues
- Have at least 6 months mechanical maintenance experience.
