Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning techniques to meet health and safety standards
- Clear and reset tables promptly to prepare for new guests, ensuring a tidy and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by bussing tables, removing used dishes, silverware, and trash to maintain cleanliness throughout service
- Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies, restocking items, and maintaining a sanitized work environment
- Follow food handling protocols to ensure all items are stored correctly and hygiene standards are upheld
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and respond quickly to guest needs
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the restaurant’s dining and kitchen areas to promote a safe and welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to ensure sanitation standards are consistently met
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus but can be taught on the job
