Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold optimal performance.
- Repair and replace critical parts using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Work on specialized systems knowledge of Tekmetrick / Mitchell 1 a plus
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems including transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, alignment, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics reading, and auto estimating software is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections such as wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, brake repairs, and oil changes.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems to maintain and upgrade
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ASE certifications are a plus but not required.Embark on a career that fuels your passion for cars!
