Our patient-focused optometry office is expanding the clinical team and seeks a technician that enjoys working with staff and doctors to provide exceptional medical care.
Objectives for the technician role:
- Ability to create and maintain relationships of confidence and trust with established and new patients
- Compassionate and professional when interacting with patients and coworkers
- Operation of auto-lensometer, auto-refractor, retinal camera, visual field, OCT, and topographer
- Ability to perform preliminary testing and documentation in electronic charting system
- Contact lens training/fitting for patients.
- Ability to work well with software systems once trained
- Computer savvy with accurate and efficient typing skills
- Ability to grow with the introduction of new medical technology and/or processes
- Willingness and desire to work as a team with all members of the office
Will train the right person as needed.
Pay dependent on experience, ability and growth in the position.
No weekends.
