Kid City USA - Meridian Park is a Paths to Quality Level 4 and NECPA-accredited child care facility. We are searching for Teachers and Assistant Teachers for our Infant, Toddler and Preschool and Pre-K programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and educational activities
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques in subjects such as math or physical education is a plus
For Lead Teacher Positions Requirements:
Child Development Associate (CDA) required or Associate’s Degree in Early, Childhood Education, Elementary Education or closely related field preferred.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in an early childhood setting working directly with young children is preferred.
Complete and maintain all state required certifications
For Assistant Teacher Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience working with children preferred.
Complete and maintain state required certifications
