Shift: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Mount Clemens, Michigan. This opportunity is ideal for respiratory therapists who thrive in acute care environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional respiratory care to critically ill and medically complex patients.

- Unit: Respiratory Care
- Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
- Open Positions: 3
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (Friday/Saturday)
- On-Call Requirement: None
- EMR System: Paragon
Requirements:
- Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist License (Out-of-state licenses not accepted)
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience required
- Comfortable managing ventilators (Required)
- Comfortable performing and interpreting EKGs (Required)
- Travel experience preferred
- CRTs will also be considered
- Current BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current ACLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients requiring emergency, critical, and acute respiratory support.
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
- Perform respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and airway management.
- Conduct pulmonary diagnostic testing and EKG monitoring.
- Monitor and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and disease management.
- Document patient care accurately using the Paragon EMR system.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
