Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and disinfecting high-touch areas
- Perform window cleaning and floor care to maintain spotless appearances in guest spaces and public areas
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and chemical sprayers safely and effectively
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals and adhering to infection control protocols
- Assist with janitorial tasks like trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately during all cleaning activities to ensure safety for yourself and others
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when moving furniture or cleaning equipment safely
- Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and infection control standards
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as pressure washers or specialized floor care tools is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to address guest needs courteously and professionally
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual handling tasks throughout shifts
