Part-Time In-Person Tutor Needed (Elementary | Homeschool/Florida Virtual School)
Club Z! Tutoring Services is seeking a dependable, patient, and engaging in-person tutor for a fifth-grade student beginning in August.
The student is homeschooled through Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and needs a tutor who can provide academic support, guide her through her daily lessons, and help keep her on track with her coursework.
Location:
- Morgan Mill Circle, Orlando, FL 32825
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 5 hours per day
- 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Compensation:
- $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate's degree
- Strong understanding of elementary-level Math, Reading/Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies
- Comfortable supporting students using the Florida Virtual School (FLVS) curriculum
- Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality
- Patient, energetic, and able to keep a fifth-grade student engaged throughout the school day
- Previous tutoring, teaching, or childcare experience is preferred but not required
This position is ideal for education majors, retired teachers, substitute teachers, homeschool educators, or experienced tutors looking for a consistent weekday morning schedule.
