What You’ll Do
Every day is different.
As a Substitute Teacher, you’ll support classrooms across our five campuses, helping ensure children continue learning in a safe, nurturing, engaging environment whenever a classroom needs additional support.
You will:
- Build positive relationships with children
- Support classroom routines and learning activities
- Help create calm, welcoming learning environments
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom
- Work collaboratively with Lead and Assistant Teachers
- Follow Montessori classroom expectations and center procedures
- Help children learn, grow, and thrive

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or currently working toward completion)
- Ability to meet Washington State/DCYF licensing requirements
- Ability to successfully complete background check requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and professional communication skills
