Counter Sales Representative – Full Time
Topete Tire Service – Houston, TX
We are looking for an experienced, dependable Counter Sales Representative to join our commercial tire and mechanic shop. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing position that requires strong communication, organization, and automotive knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Handle your own counter sales from start to finish
- Assist customers with tires, parts, repairs, and service recommendations
- Schedule mechanic and suspension appointments
- Coordinate the mechanic schedule with technicians and the sales team
- Check customers/trucks in and out and keep customers updated on job status
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and collect payments
- Communicate clearly with customers and shop personnel
- Help keep jobs organized and moving throughout the day
Requirements
- MUST speak Spanish fluently — non-Spanish-speaking applicants will not be considered
- Previous automotive, tire, parts, service advisor, or similar industry experience required
- Commercial/18-wheeler tire and suspension knowledge strongly preferred
- Willingness to learn commercial truck tires, alignments, suspension, and mechanic services
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own customers/sales
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Dependable and able to work the full required schedule
- QuickBooks experience is a plus
Schedule
Full-time position — approximately 63 hours per week
- 40 regular hours + approximately 23 overtime hours
- Saturdays required: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Full-time/open availability required
We are looking for someone who can become knowledgeable about our services, build relationships with customers, and confidently manage the sales counter while working closely with our mechanics and sales team.
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
