Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient transport of patients. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various transportation management systems. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing fleet operations, utilizing GIS and GPS technologies, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations for ambulance/wheelchair transportation, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Utilize transportation management systems such as Traumasoft to optimize routes and schedules.
- Monitor fleet performance and manage logistics to enhance efficiency in patient office.
- Communicate effectively with drivers via multi-line phone systems, providing clear instructions and support.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Address any issues that arise during the dispatch process, employing problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dispatching or logistics roles is preferred.
- Familiarity GPS, and transportation management systems is essential.
- Strong analytical skills to assess operational data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry and record maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
