Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role on our crepe line by making and plating sweet and savory crepes, while also being responsible food preparation and ensuring that all ingredients are ready. Additionally, the candidate will make sandwiches, salads, and other back kitchen items for customers. This position is perfect for those who have a passion for the food industry and want to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment.
Duties
- Cook crepes for customers. This includes the actual cooking of the crepes, as well as the plating and presentation.
- Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
- Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, stocks, and other components as directed by the kitchen lead.
- Make sandwiches, salads, etc. for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Support catering events as needed, assisting with setup and breakdown.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required, with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchens is preferred.
- Familiarity with catering operations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn more about the culinary field.
- Previous experience in restaurants or dietary departments can be beneficial.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
