We are seeking a dedicated and organized eCommerce Order Fulfillment / Warehouse Specialist to join our team and play a key role in our fulfillment operations.
This is a fully flexible hour job - our hours are Sat through Friday, and we are looking for someone who can dedicate at least 20 hours within these dates. We are willing to work with your schedule and great opportunity for anyone looking for a little extra work.
We are a small team, and most days you would be working along side 1 or 2 other people in our warehouse.
Job Description:
As an eCommerce Order Fulfillment / Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, managing inventory, and ensuring timely and accurate shipping. You will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain a smooth and efficient fulfillment process, contributing to the overall success of our customer satisfaction efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders in a timely manner to meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Receive, organize, and maintain inventory, including stock counts, inventory checks, and reordering supplies as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing, ensuring that all items meet company standards.
- Shipping Coordination: Prepare and print shipping labels, and coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS) to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring that all products are stored properly and safely.
- Returns Processing: Handle customer returns and exchanges, ensuring that returned items are inspected and restocked appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move boxes and packages weighing up to [mention weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and to stand or walk for extended periods.
