Heather Gardens Association is seeking a Kitchen Utility Associate to join the team at the Rendezvous Restaurant. This is a cross-trained, Back of House position responsible for supporting kitchen operations through dishwashing, food preparation, sanitation, stocking, and dining room support.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Kitchen Utility Associate is a cross-trained Back of House team member responsible for supporting all aspects of kitchen operations through dishwashing, food preparation, sanitation, stocking, and dining room support.
This position plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient restaurant while assisting the culinary and front-of-house teams in delivering exceptional service to Heather Gardens residents and guests.
SCHEDULE
Full-Time (40 Hours per Week)
Wednesday – Saturday
10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Operate the commercial dishwasher and maintain a clean dishwashing area.

Wash dishes, cookware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.

Assist with food preparation and ingredient preparation.

Stock workstations, refrigerators, and kitchen supplies.

Receive and organize food deliveries.

Bus and reset dining tables.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.

Assist cooks and servers during meal service.

Support banquet and special event operations.

Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to provide an exceptional dining experience.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience is preferred but not required.

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to learn multiple responsibilities within the restaurant.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and excellent customer service.

Ability to obtain a Food Handler Certification if required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the shift.

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance.

Ability to work in a commercial kitchen environment with varying temperatures.
