BridgePrep Academy North Miami Beach is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Middle School Gaming Teacher to lead an engaging program that introduces students to the exciting world of gaming, esports, game design, digital citizenship, and technology-based learning.
Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching middle school students through gaming-centered lessons and activities
- Promoting teamwork, strategic thinking, communication, and sportsmanship
- Introducing students to game design concepts and emerging technologies
- Supervising gaming clubs, competitions, and esports activities
- Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Integrating academic skills and real-world applications into gaming experiences
Qualifications:
- Florida Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Experience working with middle school students
- Knowledge of video games, esports, gaming culture, and educational technology
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Creativity, energy, and a passion for student engagement
