Duties
- Lead the architecture design for enterprise-level applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across distributed systems.
- Develop comprehensive system architecture diagrams using UML (Unified Modeling Language) to visualize components, interactions, and workflows.
- Define and implement service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles to facilitate seamless integration between diverse applications via RESTful APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices in cloud computing environments, leveraging platforms such as AWS or Azure for cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Oversee the adoption of DevOps automation tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and version control systems such as Git or SVN to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure system design adheres to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards while promoting agile software development methodologies.
- Guide teams in implementing scalable microservices architectures using frameworks like Spring Boot or.NET Core, emphasizing high availability and fault tolerance.
Requirements
- 15 years of Financial Management Systems industry experience
- 5 years as Technical Architect with an Enterprise Application (prefer Momentum implementation)
- 10 years of technical management experience with Momentum
- 10 years of experience working with FFS (basis for VA’s FMS) data structures
Pay: $170,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
