A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist providing telehealth services in Harvey, LA. This role involves delivering psychological support and assessments within the school setting, supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school year from early August to late May.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments remotely via telehealth
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized support plans
- Providing evidence-based interventions and consultation to address student needs
- Managing a caseload consistent with school assignments and age groups, to be determined upon placement
- Maintaining compliance with school policies and state licensing requirements
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification
- Active professional license in Louisiana or in the state of residence; National Certification (NCSP) is highly preferred for out-of-state candidates
- Experience delivering school psychological services via telehealth
- Strong communication and organizational skills
This full-time contract position offers a schedule aligned with the school calendar, totaling 35 hours per week (7 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday. Licensure must be current or in process due to timely credentialing requirements.
