Valley Industries is seeking it's next Assembly Technician in our Paynesville, Minnesota location.
The Assembly Technician is responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of equipment and components. This role involves reading and following technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions to build complex products.
Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints, diagrams, and written work instructions.
- Perform wiring, crimping, soldering and routing of electrical harnesses and connections.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, torque tools and measuring devices to complete assemblies.
- Operate a JIB crane and safely move heavy components into position.
- Drive and operate a forklift to move materials and complete assemblies.
- Verify functionality of assemblies by performing inspection and basic testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues with mechanical or electrical components.
This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and likes working with their hands to complete a goal.
