CDL Bus Driver – Junior Hockey Team
The MN Blue Ox, a Tier II NCDC Junior Hockey Team, is seeking a reliable and professional CDL Bus Driver to transport players, coaches, and staff throughout the season.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys being part of a team environment and takes pride in providing safe, dependable transportation. Travel includes local and regional trips, with some overnight and extended travel required throughout the hockey season.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport players, coaches, and team personnel to games, team events, and other scheduled travel activities.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional team bus environment.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Coordinate with team management regarding travel schedules and logistics.
- Ensure timely arrivals and departures while prioritizing passenger safety.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with Passenger (P) Endorsement required.
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Ability to pass applicable background checks and DOT requirements.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with players, coaches, and staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended road trips as required.
Schedule
- Primarily evenings and weekends during the hockey season.
- Overnight and longer-distance travel throughout the Midwest and surrounding regions is expected.
- Schedule varies based on the team's game and travel calendar.
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed based on experience and availability.
