We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Molder to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various molding machines and equipment to produce high-quality plastic components used in critical electronic applications.
Responsibilities
- Set up workstation and determine from blueprints the method of encapsulation, size and type of housing or mold and compounds to be used.
- Drill entry holes in housing at specified locations.
- Insert capacitors into housing, attach or form silo, apply sealant.
- Prepare and preheat resin and mold; draw vacuum on resin; fill mold with resins.
- Place housing and mold into oven for prescribed time and heat setting to cure resins.
- Disassemble molds; trim and scrape excess epoxy from housing or encapsulate capacitor or pack unit.
- Grit blast as units require.
- Mix various compounds for molded and fiberglass units.
- Clean units with appropriate solvent after removing any hardware (i.e. nuts, bolts, etc.)
- Occasionally spray paint and laser print units as needed.
- Observe and practice appropriate environmental, safety and health policies and practices.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
