Overview:
We’re looking for Seasonal Field Associates! This role is often titled "School Photographer"; however, photography experience is not a prerequisite for success. We encourage applications from individuals with diverse skills and professional backgrounds. Strawbridge Studios Inc. is looking for talented and passionate team members to continue the legacy set forth by J.E. Strawbridge, perform stress-free Picture Days, and participate in our mission to serve, support, and enrich our school community partners. We are looking for applicants who are fun, energetic, proactive, communicative, and detail-oriented. You will need to work well in a team and you must work well with children. You will need to provide your own transportation. Your schedule must be flexible, as early mornings are frequent and occasional overnight travel may be required. We will provide all training and all equipment, as well as cover traveling expenses. All applicants will be subject to criminal and motor vehicle background checks.
Responsibilities of a Seasonal Field Associate:
- Photograph subjects to ensure consistent photographic quality to our clients
- Follow SOPs to ensure proper workflow and effective time management
- Interact positively with staff, teachers, and students to capture the best possible expressions
- Collaborate effectively with any team members also assigned to Picture Day
- Set up Strawbridge-supplied camera and studio equipment by Strawbridge Standards
- Drive yourself to assigned scheduled accounts and arrive on time
- Maintain and transport equipment in a safe manner between schools according to company guidelines
- Carry and transport your equipment from your vehicle to the designated set-up location
- Provide clear Picture Day direction and set clear expectations for parents, school personnel, and student helpers
- Work closely with school staff to establish appropriate classroom work flow and effectively resolve issues
- Organize materials, assemble equipment, and ensure that all supplies are available on Picture Day
- Access reliable and secure internet to submit "jobs" same-day
- Ship collected order forms to be fulfilled
- Represent Strawbridge in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all company and school policies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with school and district administrators and office staff
- Identify opportunities to strengthen accounts through excellent service
- Relay feedback from clients to management for continuous improvement
- Maintain confidentiality of school and student related information
- Follow data security protocols for handling digital image files and subject information
- Safeguard equipment and money at all times
- Communicate with Territory Manager, team members, and other company personnel
- Willingness to travel, in-state and/or out-of-state
- Pick up late orders, etc. from accounts
- Maintenance of account needs and records
- Sales calls with team members to prospective schools and districts
- Any other duties assigned by your Territory Manager
