Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring high-quality standards are met at all times
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards throughout your shift
- Support catering efforts by preparing meals for large groups efficiently and accurately
- Serve food to guests in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Experience
- Proven restaurant or culinary experience with a focus on fine dining or catering environments
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including knife skills and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in menu planning, food service, and meal preparation for diverse audiences
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food industry standards, and sanitation protocols
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively rally atmosphere
